NatureKast Weatherproof Cabinetry
Outdoor cabinetry is where most builds fail here. Wood swells, particleboard turns to oatmeal and painted doors chalk out in two summers. NatureKast is weatherproof all the way through — it looks like reclaimed timber and behaves like it is not wood at all.
Built for a Fresno August.
Every outdoor kitchen we are asked to repair has the same problem: the cabinetry was never going to survive. Timber moves, engineered board fails the first time it gets wet, and a painted finish in direct Valley sun is on borrowed time from day one.
NatureKast is a moulded material that is weatherproof through its full thickness rather than sealed on the surface. Sun, rain, sprinklers and humidity do not swell it, rot it or chalk it.
It carries wood grain and colour convincingly enough that most people do not realise it is not timber until we tell them. That combination — looks like wood, is not wood — is the entire reason we build outdoor kitchens with it.

What NatureKast gives you
Weatherproof through and through
Not a sealed surface over a vulnerable core. The material itself does not absorb water, which is why it does not swell, delaminate or rot the way timber and engineered board do out here.
UV-stable finishes
Colour that holds up under direct Central Valley sun. Chalking and fading are the first visible failure on painted outdoor cabinetry, and they do not happen here on the same timetable.
Convincing wood look
Grain and tone that read as reclaimed timber from any normal viewing distance. The point is that your outdoor kitchen does not look like an appliance bay.
Takes a grill run
Designed to be built around built-in grills, refrigeration and outdoor-rated appliances with the clearances those actually require.
Handles sprinkler overspray
The failure mode nobody plans for. Irrigation hitting a cabinet run every morning destroys timber quickly and does nothing to this.
Low maintenance
No annual sealing or refinishing. Cleaning is cleaning. That is a meaningful difference over a decade of Valley summers.

The right project for NatureKast.
Any outdoor kitchen, covered or not. Shade extends the life of everything out there, but the reason to use weatherproof cabinetry is that the Valley climate is punishing even under a roof.
It is also the answer for pool houses, outdoor bars and covered patios where humidity and splash are constant, and for anywhere irrigation reaches.
Indoors it is not the right choice — that is what the timber lines are for. NatureKast earns its place precisely where wood cannot go.

No. It is a moulded weatherproof material with wood grain and colour through it. That is the point — it gives you the look of timber in conditions that destroy timber.
Yes. Finishes are UV-stable, which is the main failure point for painted outdoor cabinetry here. Shade still helps everything last longer, and we will tell you what fully exposed means for the whole build.
More than standard cabinetry up front, and considerably less than rebuilding an outdoor kitchen that failed in three years. Outdoors, it is the only version worth quoting.
Granite or quartzite. Most engineered quartz is not UV-stable and will discolour outside, even though it is the right answer for nearly every indoor kitchen.
Reasonably closely in tone, which is usually the goal — picking up a colour or a counter material so the two spaces read as related rather than identical.
