Flooring in Fresno
Hardwood, luxury vinyl plank and tile — specified in the same room as your cabinets and countertops so the three actually agree, then installed by the team that chose them with you.
Floors are chosen last and regretted first.
A floor is the largest single surface in the room and usually the last thing anyone picks. By then the cabinets are ordered, the counter is chosen, and the floor has to work around decisions already made.
We do it the other way round. Flooring sits on the same table as the door sample and the slab, early, because an undertone clash between a floor and a cabinet finish is almost impossible to fix afterwards and glaringly obvious forever.
That is the real argument for buying all three in one place. Not convenience — the fact that they get decided against each other instead of in sequence.

Flooring we install across Fresno
Fresno summers and Central Valley slab construction rule some materials in and others out. We will say which.
Luxury vinyl plank
Waterproof, dimensionally stable and by some distance the most practical floor for a Valley house on a slab. Modern LVP has stopped looking like vinyl. It is what we recommend most often for kitchens, baths and full-house runs with pets or children.
Engineered hardwood
A real wood wear layer over a stable core, so it handles our humidity swings far better than solid timber. The right answer when you want genuine wood underfoot in a kitchen or great room.
Solid hardwood
Still the best floor there is when the subfloor and the room suit it. We are straight with you about where it belongs and where it will cup or gap — a Valley slab is frequently the wrong home for it.
Porcelain and ceramic tile
For bathrooms, mudrooms, laundries and entries where water sits. Large-format tile means less grout, which is the part people tire of cleaning. Wood-look porcelain is a genuine option now rather than a compromise.
Natural stone tile
Travertine, marble and slate for the rooms that deserve them. They need sealing and a realistic conversation about maintenance before you commit to one in a wet room.
Transitions and thresholds
The unglamorous detail that makes a floor look finished. Where new flooring meets tile, carpet or an uneven older slab is exactly where bad installs announce themselves.

The cheapest time to do the floor is now.
If the room is already coming apart for cabinets, doing the floor in the same window costs you one disruption instead of two. Appliances are out, the room is empty, and nobody is working around a finished surface they are trying not to damage.
It is also the only point at which the floor and the new cabinets can be judged against each other in person. Six months later you are matching a floor to cabinets from memory and a phone photo.
That said, nobody is obliged to do all three. Plenty of clients do cabinets and counters now and flooring later, and we will sequence it so the later floor still works.

For most houses on a slab taking normal family use, luxury vinyl plank. It is waterproof, stable through our temperature swings and no longer looks like a compromise. Engineered hardwood is the answer when you want real wood; solid hardwood only where the subfloor genuinely suits it.
Yes. Flooring on its own is a normal job for us. The only thing we will raise is sequencing if you are planning cabinets later, because the order affects how the toe kick and transitions land.
Almost never. Flooring runs room by room and most clients stay put. We tell you which days are the disruptive ones so you can plan around them.
It depends on the material and the room, and it genuinely matters for future repairs and appliance height. We make the call per job and explain why, rather than defaulting to whichever is faster.
A single room is usually short. A whole house depends on square footage, material and whether there is old flooring to pull up. You get a real date range before we start.
Yes — Fresno, Clovis, Madera, Sanger, Visalia and the surrounding Central Valley.
