Bathrooms, properly

The room where storage decides everything.

California Cabinets designs and installs bathroom remodels for homeowners across Fresno and Clovis — from a single vanity replacement to a full primary bath with linen storage, tiled shower and new flooring.

Bathrooms are less forgiving than kitchens. The room is smaller, the plumbing is fixed, and a vanity that's two inches too deep turns a walkway into an obstacle. So we measure first, confirm where the plumbing actually sits, and design the cabinetry around it — rather than ordering a stock vanity and hoping.

Because we also fabricate countertops and supply flooring, a bathroom can be finished in the same finishes as the rest of your house instead of looking like it was done by a different company in a different year.

Scope

What a bathroom remodel includes

Vanities

Furniture-style and built-in vanities in single or double configurations, sized to the room and to where the plumbing actually is. Drawer banks that clear the trap, not ones that fight it.

Linen & storage

Linen towers, medicine cabinets, recessed niches and over-toilet storage — the difference between a bathroom that works and one you keep apologising for.

Countertops

Granite, quartz and stone composite tops fabricated in-house, with undermount or vessel cutouts templated to your chosen sinks and faucets.

Tile & flooring

Tile for floors, shower surrounds and tub decks, plus waterproof plank where a warmer floor makes more sense than stone.

Hardware

Top Knobs and Jeffrey Alexander pulls and knobs, matched to your fixture finish — brass, matte black, satin nickel or bronze — chosen against the actual door sample.

Powder rooms

Small rooms where a single well-made piece carries the whole space. Often the fastest, highest-impact project in a house.

Whole-house consistency

Baths that match the rest of the house.

A very common pattern for us: a client does the kitchen, likes it, and comes back for the bathrooms a year or two later. Because we keep the specification on file and carry the same cabinet lines, the second project can match the first exactly — same door profile, same finish, same hardware family.

One client has had us remodel three bathrooms over six years, and then a pantry. That only works if the finishes still line up years later.

I have had California Cabinets do work for me over the last 6 yrs. They have remodeled three bathrooms for me. I now have them doing a pantry. Ken has been an absolute pleasure to work with each time.

Bathroom remodeling questions

The things worth settling before a bathroom project starts — particularly around plumbing, which is where most bathroom remodels go wrong.

Start Your Bathroom

Far less than a kitchen, and with a wider range. A powder-room vanity swap and a full primary bath with double vanity, linen tower, tiled shower and new flooring are very different numbers. We quote after measuring and give you a materials list with a real range.

Sometimes yes, sometimes the plumbing has to move. This is the single most important thing to settle before cabinets are ordered, because a vanity built around one plumbing position cannot be adjusted afterward. We check it at the measuring stage and tell you upfront if a move is needed — including what that adds to the project.

Yes, and it's one of the most common things we do. If we built your kitchen, we still have the specification and can match the door profile, finish and hardware exactly. If someone else built it, bring us a door or a drawer front and we'll compare it against our lines in person.

Yes. We perform tile work for floors, shower surrounds and tub decks, and we supply and install flooring — so the bathroom can be handled as one project rather than split across trades.

Cabinet lead time drives the schedule, the same as a kitchen, but the installation window is shorter. A single vanity is a short project; a full primary bath with tile is longer. We give you dates at the design stage.

Yes. Plenty of our bathroom work is a single vanity or a powder room. It's often how people try us out before a larger project.
